Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about my little adventure with this Rolex Black Submariner, the “high imitation” kind.
So, I heard about these high imitation Rolex watches, they’re a real problem, you know? They say there are guides that tell you how to spot a fake, but who has time for that? I figured I’d just dive right in.
I started by looking around online, not the official Rolex site, of course, those prices are, well, let’s just say I’d have to sell a kidney or two. Then, I found these sites that talk about high imitation Rolexes, New Green Submariner, Two-tone Blue Submariner, all kinds of colors. I decided I wanted the classic Black Submariner.
Found a site, not gonna say which one, don’t want to get anyone in trouble, and they had a bunch of pictures. Looked pretty good, shiny and black, just like the real deal they show on those fancy watch sites. I placed an order, paid with my credit card, and waited. And waited. Took a while, but hey, it’s coming from far away, right?
Finally, the package arrived. Ripped that thing open like a kid at Christmas. And there it was, my high imitation Rolex Black Submariner. Felt heavy in my hand, just like they said it would. They try to make ’em feel heavy, you know, to fool you into thinking it’s real.
My Thoughts
- Looks: Pretty darn good. Shiny, black, the markings all looked right.
- Feel: Heavy, like a real watch. Not like those cheap plastic things.
- Price: Way cheaper than a real Rolex. Like, a whole lot cheaper.
Now, I ain’t no expert on watches. I’m not gonna pretend I can tell you every little detail about this thing. But I’ll tell you what, I wore it out, and people noticed. Got some compliments, even. Nobody guessed it was a high imitation. Or if they did, they didn’t say anything.
If you want a real Rolex Submariner, you gotta go to the real store. But, oh boy, you better have a lot of money. We’re talkin’ a whole heap of money, more than I’ve ever seen. So, for someone like me, this high imitation, it does the trick. It’s a nice-looking watch, feels good on the wrist, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
So, that’s my story. I took a chance on a high imitation Rolex Black Submariner, and I’m happy with it. It’s not the real thing, but it’s good enough for me.
